The competition is open to all individuals, teams, academic studios and firms. Volunteers for each of the sponsoring organizations are particularly encouraged to enter.

The following exceptions and qualifications apply:

Paid employees and consultants for Charlottesville Community Design Center, Piedmont Housing Alliance and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter the competition.

Only one entry per registration will be accepted. Entrants who wish to submit more than one project must register for each scheme they intend to enter by the registration deadline.

Designers from different disciplines are encouraged to work in teams. The jury will not be informed of any aspect of the authorship of any submission.
